Roy Keane’s Search for a talented Center Half has taken him to West Ham United defender Anton Ferdinand.

Ironically, Anton is the brother of Keane’s former team mate Rio Ferdinand.

Sunderland have been in the market for a Center Half from quite some time with Roy Keane Preparing a side that would not just survive the relegation but will also fight for a decent Mid-table position.

After failing to land most of his targets, the highlighted once being Younes Kaboul who left for Portsmouth. Keane has turned his attention to Anton Ferdinand.

Sunderland have tabled an £8m bid for West Ham centre-half Anton Ferdinand. The 23-year-old recently turned down the offer of a new contract at Upton Park. (News of the World)

Anton at 23 Years of age has a bright future in front of him and has shown glimpses of what he is capable of.

And after the playing having rejected a new contract offer from his current suitors, it has encouraged Sunderland led by the legendary Roy Keane to follow up on the interest.
