Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp on Monday dismissed suggestions he is being lined up to return to West Ham.

Hammers boss Alan Curbishley remains under pressure despite a 2-1 win over Wigan at the weekend, while Redknapp is one of the favourites to be the first Premier League boss to lose his job this season.

Redknapp’s name has been strongly linked with a return to the club he previously managed and played for.

But the Pompey chief, who shunned a move to Newcastle last year, insists he has no intentions of quitting his side.

“I am not interested in going anywhere else,” he is quoted by the Daily Star. “I have had some offers before but I am happy where I am.”
