Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta insists they’re not chasing free agent Ronaldo.

“Will we move for Ronaldo? Absolutely not,” Marotta raged to Calciomercato.com.

“I can deny this categorically because he doesn’t interest us at all. I have read that Siena are after him and you should go and ask them.”

Ronaldo a Free Agent has pleaded for Premiership side Manchester City to offer him a contract. But Manager Mark Hughes has made it clear that nothing of that sought is going to happen.
