Manchester City Football Club are ready to make a move for Andrei Arshavin.
The Russian international was on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, but the Londoners were left frustrated when Zenit St Petersburg continued to increase their price.
However, they are ready to cash in on the attacking midfielder if they fail to reach the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League, and reports suggest they will accept as little as £12million.
It is believed that Mark Hughes is set to make a move for Arshavin, as he looks to add yet more quality to his squad following the Blues recently-found status as the world richest club.
