Magnus Hedman has stated that he has been approached by Manchester City to cover injured City keeper Joe Hart. Manager Mark Hughes had confirmed that the Premier League had given permission for a goalkeeper to be brought to City, on loan, to fill in for injured Hart.
Joe Hart is expected to be out of commission for around two weeks after the ankle injury he sustained in their draw against Hull, and the third choice keeper Richard Martin is also injured.
Hedman has, however, said that he needs more time to think about City’s offer as he may not be fit enough to perform:
“They want me to sit on the bench for this weekend’s game (against Arsenal), but I need at least two weeks’ training,”
“But my answer of no is not definitive. I need to think about it further.”
