Almost six months after Mathieu Flamini left the Emirates, he has revealed that he still feels depressed about his move to AC Milan after he was unable to secure a new contract. Speaking about the move, and Arsenal’s recent performances within the League he said:
“I am not very happy when I see what is going on with the Arsenal team. I’m still an Arsenal fan because I played there for four years. I am still red in my heart.”
“The most important thing is to have unity and to have a good spirit to keep going. Last year the Arsenal spirit was amazing. From the back to the front everybody fought for each other all over the pitch.
“I played in midfield with Cesc Fabregas, Alex Hleb and Tomas Rosicky and we were always talking and helping each other. When you fight for each other you win games.
“Arsene Wenger is very important and it is very important to trust him because he has achieved great things at the club but although the manager is always a big influence in the dressing room it is up to the players to get together and work hard for each other.
“When you play in England the most important thing is to win the battle. It is never easy to play in the Premier League because it is physical and every team has strong players.”

Maybe he is depressed now. When he was leaving he only wanted to do one thing: LEAVE, despite the increase in salary offered to him. Thank you Mr Flamini, it no use no feeling sorry. But then again, he probably only feels sorry for his mate (Cesc). Good timing now that Cesc is Capi
Flamini cost Arsenal a fortune by leaving on a free transfer, he has made his bed, good riddance.
Well and simply said stephen.
Come back! All will be forgiven.
Stehen talking out of this hole. Flamini cost us nothing and left for nothing. If we had managed our players contracts better after Dein left then this may not have happened. I for one would take Famini back in the blink of an eye. Largely responsible for our fantastic run in the league last season.
Come back home, man! Play with captain Cesc and become an Arsenal legend! We still like you, give us reason for us to love you!
