Arsene Wenger agrees with Ferguson over Fixture List injustice

Arsene Wenger has leapt to the support of Manchester United Football Club manager Sir Alex Ferguson…no, seriously.

The United boss has claimed the Premier League fixtures are unfair to his side, as they always seem to play away from home directly after an away clash in the UEFA Champions League.

The Reds have also played all nine teams who finished below them in the league last season on the road, and Wenger has some sympathy for his long-term rival.

“Liverpool have played at home eight times and Chelsea six. It is unfair,” said the Arsenal manager in the News of the World. “For once, I agree with Sir Alex!”
