Manchester City to bid £35million for David Villa

Manchester City Football Club are said to be confident of landing David Villa

The worlds richest club are desperate to land a top-quality striker during the winter transfer window, and Spanish international Villa is believed to be top target.

Valencia are currently facing a difficult time financially, and as much as they would love to keep the 27-year-old at the Mestalla, they are unlikely to be able to resist a big offer.

Early reports indicated Che were hanging on for an offer in the region of £50million for the former Real Zaragoza man, but the Blues are said to be confident £35million will be enough.

Solve Valencia’s problem… go get Villa & Silva for £70M, they can pay off their debts, City can move forward and everyone’s happy – simple

This would only happen in the unbelievable event that City could also sign Fabregas from Arsenal.

But who really knows? No one. We will just have to wait and see what the next window and then the summer window brings.

If City can pinch a Champions League spot this season anything could be on the cards.

Dreaming and guessing rarely pay off.

I’m a city fan and I’m pretty sure that ain’t going to happen. If he’s going anywhere he’s going Champions League contenders. Simple. and we ain’t going to be there for a couple of years yet.
