Bolton have stepped up their interest in Hannover 96 winger Szabolcs Huszti - the golden boy of Hungarian football.

Steven Gerrard's injury following Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers has meant the Liverpool Captain can no longer play in Wednesday night's international friendly against Germany, despite having been picked for the side by Capello.

Reports are emerging that, following Manchester City's 2-0 defeat to Bolton, Mark Hughes is considering a January transfer bid for 21 year old Argentina star Sergio Aguero currently playing for Atletico Madrid.
